I Have A Dream 2014 Yr 6

During this term's R.E. topic Year 6  have been looking at Martin Luther King's famous 'I Have A Dream' speech.   They have written their own versions, which they are very proud of.

I have a Dream………

I have a dream that war will end and the world will be in complete harmony.

I still have a dream that it will stop now, that people will put their guns down and that will stop once and forever.

I still have a dream that people can say what they want to say, without being scared of being put in prison.

I have a dream that people can stop being poor and everyone can be equal, so no one is rich or poor.

Alec Devenney

I have a Dream………

I have a dream that one day all people who don’t have a home will find one.

I still have a dream this morning, that one day every person in Syria, every soldier at war will come together united and say to each other ‘Let’s stop war immediately’.

I still have a dream today, that one day justice will come and the world will be right again.

 Emily Frimpong

I have a Dream………

I have a dream that remedies will be found for the Ebola crisis, that people with hatred in their hearts towards black people will find peace.

I have a dream that everyone around the world will feel safe, poor families will have a Magical Christmas this year, people will receive food to feed their families and that we will respect God’s creation and not destroy it.

I still have a dream this day, that everyone who has died will be prayed for and thought about, that we can learn from our mistakes and not go through war again and that our loved ones in heaven did not die in vain.

Fioreviola Raspanti

I have a Dream………

I have a dream that the hungry will soon have food and will no longer be starving.

I still have a dream this morning, that people will realise everybody is equal and will make peace. Everyone is special to God.

I have a dream still last night, that everyone is going to see that Christmas is not about getting, it’s the giving that matters.

Freya Nepaul

I have a Dream………

I have a dream that life will be ….different from this hell that is the life of many underprivileged people around the world. The things we take for granted can make a big difference in their lives, like proper education in schools.

I have a dream that one day we may have trained and we will learn something new each day, whereas many people are struggling to learn anything and prepare for the future.

I still have a dream this day, that all will have access to proper health care. We have trained doctors, who provide us with medicines and cures when we are ill.

I have a dream that there will be enough food and drink, not rotten and dirty, fresh and clean food to saturate their hunger and quench their thirst.

I have a dream that someone one day will put a top to all this injustice.

Joseph Lane

I have a Dream………

I have a dream that the hatred in people’s hearts can become love and that we can hold hands and walk along the paths of righteousness.

I still have a dream this morning, that all genders can make peace for the world’s own safety, that the ill become the cured, that the poor become the wealthy and that the evil becomes the good.

I still have a dream this day, that the voice of fear shall not be heard, that the devil will not win this battle that the world will be perfect as we speak.

 Joshua Bamidele

I have a Dream………

I have a dream that one day white people, black people and refugees will unite and make the world a better place.

I still have a dream that all the people in the world will stop the hatred and come together to work, play and spend their lives with one another.

I have a dream that one day there will be nor cancer, no Ebola and no racism. That all people accept each other, not on the colour of their skin but on the thought of love in their hearts.

Kerys Tolfree

I have a Dream………

I have a dream that one day doctors will find a cure for these killing diseases and put an end to the deaths they have caused.

I still have a dream that criminals will find peace in their hearts and join us on God’s community.

I still have a dream that everyone in this world will hold hands and lead all to the field of peace.

Michelle Burchell

I have a Dream………

I have a dream that future generations will never have to experience being poor or being in debt.

I still have a dream every day, that one day every foreign person in this country will have the right to come and have access to a house, food and clean water.

I still have a dream and I think of it all the time, that one day everyone will learn to treat their neighbours with justice and love.

I have a dream that one day this will come true and I will happy.

Molly Clark

I have a Dream………

I have a dream, that one day, my brothers and sisters – all people on earth – will walk in unity to fight for what is right.

I have a dream that one day we will all be charitable and be fair and just, and one day perpetual light will shine upon those who work to fight for the poor countries

I still have a dream this day, that all men and women will be just with what they do and cherish every advantage they have.

Oliver Underwood

I have a Dream………

I have a dream that people who are less fortunate than us, will arise from their illness and be cured, where they can wrapped up warm with God’s protection. The poor will be guarded by God’s angels.

I still have a dream that this world will be kind-hearted and everyone will be considerate to all refugees. Let them treat others as we would like as we would like to be treated. As it says in Math 6: 43-45: ‘Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you so that you may become the children of your Father in heaven’.

I still have a dream that everyone in this world will hold hands and be loving to each other. Let God’s creation be a perfect world and full of divine care. Let this world be at peace!

Sarah Linoy Cherian

I have a Dream………

I have a dream that one day, all of the children that God created will have a good education and the poor will have all the same privileges as the rich

I still have a dream that there will be no such things as shanti towns, instead there will be clean, equitable towns where families can live happily.

I have a dream that cancer, Ebola and other diseases will have cures ad the kind, loving, volunteer nurses will not catch but help cure these diseases.

Seunfunmi Peters

I have a Dream………

I have a dream that one day every person, whether they are poor or rich, white or black, smart or lame will not struggle but will prosper.

I still have a dream that every awful sickness in the world will be beaten and cured, that the world will have enough food to feed each other, we will come together and rise up to hold hands and trust our fellow neighbours, our trustworthy sisters and brothers.

I will still have this dream of this country being a better place. I also dream of the inspirational youth bringing justice to the world.
